NEWS: AUGUST 2008
Presently Byron Bay Buddhist - Siddhartha's Intent Australia
(BBB-SIA) is focussing on numerous study and practice workshops, in addtion
to regular practice events. These programs are held at the centre in
Brubnswick Heads, in Lismore, as well as in Sydney. There are plans to have
workshops in Melbourne and Brisbane this spring.
The
teachings on Uttaratantra with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche are
scheduled to begin in January 2009, and will be held in the Byron Bay area.
Location and dates to be advised.
The
Siddhartha School project is more and more gaining momentum, with much
encouragement and support. Funding and finding a suitable location has been
a problem, and for this reason the opening of a school has been set to
February 2010.
The three
year retreat at Vajradhara Gonpa was completed in April, with
Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche leading a weeklong Chime Pagma Nyingtik
group practice with the retreatants and more than one hundred participants
from the outside.
Vajradhara Gonpa is now accepting expressions of interest for the next three-year retreat, which will commence in early 2009.
Please enquire by email to cabs@siddharthasintent.org or by post to
Vajradhara Gonpa, PO Box 345, Kyogle NSW 2474 Australia.
