Anniversary of Kunkhyen Longchenpa

The Life and Legacy of Longchenpa, together with the practice of his Guru Sadhana.
Regarded as a consummate master of the Great Perfection, Longchenpa fused the Dzogchen lineages of Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra. It is said that “Padmasambhava pointed to the door, and Longchenpa opened it.” Since the fourteenth-century Longchenpa’s teachings have been the guiding light of the practitioners of the Great Perfection, and there is a tradition of celebrating his nirvana on the 18th of the 12th Tibetan month. We will practice the Guru Sadhana according to the Longchen Nyingtik and read passages from Longchenpa’s writings. Everyone who has a connection to Longchenpa and the Great Perfection teaching is welcome.
