Sydney Seminar – The Heart of the Sutra Path
The Treasury of Blessings
Based on his vision of the Buddha, the great sage Jamgon Mipham wrote this buddha-anu-smriti practice – the practice of recollecting the Buddha. Mipham Rinpoche also wrote an extensive commentary on this practice which was distilled by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche into its essence, for the practice of meditation. It is this text, together with the practice itself, that we will study. Entitled “The Sage who Dispels Mind’s Anguish, it covers the indispensable practices of shamatha and vipashyana.
