Tsasum Drildrub weekend teaching

Weekend Teaching with Steve Cline in Sydney
29 -30 June 2024

Siddhartha’s Intent Australia is pleased to invite those who have received the empowerment for the Tsasum Drildrub (Practice of the Three Roots Combined into One), for a weekend teaching by Steve Cline, Senior Instructor for SIA.

The Tsasum Drildrub is a terma discovered by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo as yangter in 1859. It is regarded as the epitome of the Rinchen Terdzo, the vast collection of Nyingma revealed spiritual treasures.

Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche has bestowed the empowerment of the practice on several occasions in Australia, the most recent being 24 November 2023, at the special event hosted by Yeshikhorlo, Sydney Olympic Park.

Steve Cline
Over the past 30 years, Steve has translated numerous liturgies practiced by Siddhartha’s Intent. He is a project consultant for Khyentse Vision Project and currently collaborating to publish a new edition of the Tsasum Drildrub practice material on which the program will be based.

The weekend will include:
    – Historical background of the practice
– Structure of the sadhana
– Shrine set up
– Use of ritual implements and shrine master activities
– Guidance on the development and accomplishment stages
– Tsok offering on Sunday 30 June.

Location: The teaching will be conducted at the Sydney Practice Room (address & directions below), and also live-streamed, for those unable to attend in person.

Date: Saturday 29 & Sunday 30, June 2024

Time:
– Morning Session: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm AEST
– Lunch break
– Afternoon Session: 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm AEST

To attend in person you will be required to attend both days. If this is not possible, please attend online.
