Manjushri Teaching

25 July 2020
Bir
Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche

Who is Manjushri? He is said to have been born in Mt Wutai in China and to have founded the city of Kathmandu in Nepal. He appears as an ordinary lay disciple and as a representative of the Buddha. He appears as white, orange, black and even as the child of a turtle. In fact, Manjushri has no colour, no shape, no beginning nor end, but resides within all of us, even in the donkeys and the grass they are eating. If we want to see Manjushri, we only need to call his name.

Subtitles: Chinese, English, Portuguese and Russian

  • Audio and video of Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti (Chanting the Names of Mañjushri) recitation.
  • Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti text.
