Finding Rest in the Nature of the Mind

Weekly Buddhist Studies with Jakob Leschly
The Trilogy of Rest, Volume I
Starting January 20th 2019 | Sundays 5:30-6.30pm AEDT

The spotless dharmakāya, luminous and clear,
Is the buddha nature of all beings,
Yet through their ignorance and clinging,
They wander in the cycle of existence.
In the wilderness of karma and defilement
They stray in weariness.
Today I will bring rest to their exhausted minds.

"Rest is what we lack most. Even more agonizing is that we don't know how to do it; in fact, we don't even understand what it means to rest. Who but Longchenpa can and will make absolutely sure that we finally understand what rest is." Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.

"This sacred volume embodies the entire Buddhist path - from how to inspire our wild mind toward the Dharma to how to fulfill the needs of all by awakening the nature of the mind, innate Buddhahood, as it is." Tulku Thondup.

This study is for Buddhist practitioners and presumes familiarity with classical Buddhist themes such as karma, rebirth, and the possibility of enlightenment through the practice of the path. The webinars are held under the auspices of Tibetan Buddhist master Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche with Jakob Leschly as instructor. Jakob has served Siddhartha’s Intent since 1993.
