Introduction to Madhyamaka

Buddhist Study and Practice with Alex Trisoglio

At Rinpoche’s request, this online seminar series will introduce the Madhyamaka or “Middle Way” teachings, the foundational view upon which all Buddhist practice is based. The seminars will be based on Rinpoche’s teachings on Chandrakirti’s Madhyamakavatara, The Heart Sūtra, and the Vajracchedikā Sūtra, as well as other related teachings by Rinpoche such as The Two Truths and The Four Seals. The seminar series will be offered at an introductory level, with 8 one-hour sessions weekly over two months. This will be followed later in 2017 by a more in-depth teaching for students who wish to deepen their understanding of Buddhist view.

The seminar series will be held at 7-8pm Wednesday evening Pacific Standard Time on June 7, 14, 21, 28 and July 5, 12, 19, 26

Registration for the first session on June 7 is now open. Please click here to register.
