“Longchenpa Roulette” – with Arne Schelling
Siddhartha’s Intent Europe warmly invites you to “Longchenpa Roulette,” a unique and engaging online study and contemplation group led by Arne Schelling focused on Longchenpa’s profound Precious Treasury of Essential Instructions.
Rather than following a traditional linear curriculum, this course embraces a spontaneous approach:
Each session, Arne will select random verses from the root text to explore together. He will unpack these core teachings by drawing upon the rich commentary of Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, alongside the teachings and insights of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and other contemporary masters.
This dynamic format bridges ancient wisdom with modern experience, allowing the profound depths of the lineage to come alive in a fresh, immediate way.
Meeting online twice a month, the course is designed to be highly interactive, reserving plenty of time after each verse for deep discussion and group reflection. Because each session centers around randomly selected verses, the structure is completely modular, meaning everybody is welcome to drop in at any time without the pressure of falling behind.
For those who want to dive deeper, recordings of all previously discussed verses will be readily available for review.
This welcoming space provides a wonderful opportunity for both seasoned practitioners and curious newcomers to explore these essential teachings together.
