SI Western Door runs an extensive dharma teaching program around the USA including workshops, seminars and retreats. Additionally, it funds the upkeep of the SI global archive, which houses the entire collection of Rinpoche’s teachings.

From a buddhist perspective the act of giving has enormous benefits for the giver not just the recipient. Unattached giving undermines our habitual self clinging and stinginess allowing the paramita of generosity to flourish.
