Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik Drupchö (group practice intensive) (English)
Led by Florence Koh, Chris Jay and Sydney Jay.
Location: Sea to Sky Retreat Centre (SSRC), Whistler, BC, Canada
Time: August 16–24, 2025
SSRC will be hosting an in-person Drupchö (group practice intensive) of the profound Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik — The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tāra. This sacred practice will be led by Instructors of Siddhartha’s Intent Florence Koh, Chris Jay, and Sydney Jay.
Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche strongly encourages us to engage in intensive group practice. Practicing together in this way greatly increases merit and removes obstacles—for ourselves, the Sangha, and the Guru’s enlightened activity.
The Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik is a deeply blessed practice of White Tāra, uniting the Vajrayāna deity yoga traditions of three great Indian vidyādharas: Shrī Siṃha, Vimalamitra, and Guru Padmasambhava. To truly practice the Dharma, we need long life – relatively of our human body, and ultimately of our experience and realization of intrinsic awareness, the true essence of White Tāra. This practice creates the conditions for both.
During the Drupchö, we will review teachings on Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the ritual roles of Umdze (chant leader) and Chöpon (shrine master). Instruction in torma-making will be offered. Evening mudrā classes will also be available.
This Drubchö will be dedicated to the long life and continued activity of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, whose tireless efforts to preserve and transmit the Dharma continue to benefit beings across traditions and cultures. As students deeply connected to his vast mandala of activity, we gather with the aspiration that Rinpoche remains in this world for a very long time, in excellent health, and that all his enlightened aspirations be swiftly and fully accomplished.
Come and join us for this auspicious festival of practice!
