Welcome to Siddhartha’s Intent Online Temple

A worldwide virtual community dedicated to upholding and practising the teachings of the Khyentse Lineage and specifically of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

About the Online Temple

The Online Temple supports practitioners at three levels: Laying Foundations is for beginners, Exploring Vajrayana for intermediate practitioners wanting to learn more and Sadhana Practice for advanced students.

If you are new to the Online Temple and would like to participate in any of the practice sessions:

  1. Check our practice calendar below with information on all the practices currently available. You will have an option to save calendar entries to your personal calendar once you select a practice. There is no need to register in advance.
  2. Join your chosen practice in either Laying Foundations, Exploring Vajrayana or the Sadhana Practice rooms.

If you have any questions or are unsure as to which practice is best for you, please contact one of our instructors. All practices are open to all.

Explore Our Rooms

It may be difficult to accept, but right now, this very moment, is the perfect time for you to start practising, regardless of the many reasons you have, good and bad, for trying to put it off. Perhaps you would rather wait until you are less busy at work, or win the lottery, or get over your partner leaving you, but life will never be free from disruptions and to wait for things to settle down will merely ensure that you never, ever take that first step.

Laying Foundations

This Room hosts regular meditation practices offered by Siddhartha’s Intent instructors, and programs on “Introduction to Buddhism”.

Anyone is welcome to join, although since there is little to no guidance during the actual practice, beginners to Buddhism who are interested to learn more are encouraged to ask our instructors.

Exploring Vajrayana

This Room hosts regular Ngöndro (preliminary) practices and book reading gatherings offered by Siddhartha’s Intent instructors once a week.

Anyone is welcome to join, although beginners to Buddhism who are interested to learn more are encouraged to ask our instructors.

Sadhana Practice

This Room hosts regular online feast offering practices that can be joined worldwide.

To attend this kind of practice it is helpful, but not essential, to have some familiarity with Vajrayana theory and practice. For some of the practices, empowerment is required, you can connect with our instructors to learn more about this.
