Purpose of the Role
This role supports Siddhartha’s Intent’s mission of sharing the Dharma globally by creating engaging and accessible short-form video content. The video editor will transform teaching highlights and related media into YouTube reels that reach and inspire a younger and broader audience.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce short-form videos (reels/shorts) for SI’s global YouTube channel
Select impactful teaching highlights in collaboration with the YouTube team
Add captions, graphics, and subtitles as needed for accessibility
Optimize reels for engagement and alignment with SI’s style and vision
Collaborate with the team to meet content timelines
Qualifications / Skills
Experience with video editing software
Age 20–50; able to understand new popular trends and topics people are most concerned about
Proficiency in English and Mandarin (preferred), with ability to edit bilingual captions
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with YouTube’s format for reels/shorts
Nice-to-have: Prior experience editing Dharma or educational content; understanding of SI’s vision and approach.
Time Commitment
5–10 hours per week; ongoing role with flexible scheduling.
Reporting & Collaboration
Reports to the SI YouTube Team Lead; collaborates with the global YouTube working group and regional SI teams.

Remote/online; open to applicants worldwide.
