Born and raised in India, Brinda was introduced to Buddhist worldviews as a child. Years later, after hearing Rinpoche’s teachings and approach, which appeal to skeptical newbies and seasoned practitioners alike, a fledgling practice grew stubbly wings under the auspices of lineage teachers and Rinpoche’s vast and compassionate tent.
She believes that methods and concepts tested over millennia—like mind training, equanimity, impermanence, and interdependence—create shifts that are especially helpful for individuals, societies, and the future of our planet.
Today, Brinda brings research skills and participatory strategies to a talented melange of volunteers and students who help to facilitate Rinpoche’s activities.
