Chantal was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1984 where she trained as a registered nurse and worked in oncology and palliative care. She spent many years working in clinical cancer research and after leaving clinical research worked in project management.
Chantal has been a student of Rinpoche’s since 1994. Since 2010 she has been the Australian representative for Khyentse Foundation and more recently the KF liaison for the Khyentse Vision Project. Chantal was the Administrative Director for SI Australia from 2012 to 2020.
As part of SI Global Finance team, along with Sarah and Josh, Chantal is working to establish a global fund to help cover essential expenses related to the preservation and distribution of Rinpoche's teachings.
