Erin first met Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in 2005, and in 2007, spent a year teaching English at Dzongsar Institute and Deer Park Institute in India. In 2023, Erin joined the SIA Committee in the Memberships role and moved to the Committee Projects role in 2025. Erin has a background in education and mental health, loves digging in the garden, and teaching her dog silly tricks.
