Online Feast Offering Practice
The Profound Mind Treasure of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo
Dear friends,
We are happy to announce a special online Feast Offering Practice of The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tārā (Chime Phagme Nyingtik).
Please stay in touch about other weekend dates where we will host the Chime Phakme Nyingtik and Vima Ladrup group tsok practices (this will not always be on the 10th or 25th lunar date). These practices can also be viewed on our online practice calendar.
The Tibetan word “tsok” means ‘gathering’ and refers to the gathering of practitioners, the gathering of offerings, the gathering of mandala deities, and the gathering of merit and wisdom. To attend this kind of practice it is helpful, but not essential, to have some familiarity with Vajrayana theory and practice.
The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tārā tsok can be joined by those who have received empowerment. If you have not received the empowerment, you are still welcome to join the practice to sit and listen much as one might join a puja being conducted in a monastery or read a liturgy for the duration of the practice if one is provided by the host. The only requirement in this case is to have faith and respect towards Ārya Tārā and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. However, in accordance with Rinpoche’s wishes, you won’t be able to download or keep a liturgy until the empowerment has been received.

Please see the SIA Online Prayer List to add names of people who are experiencing obstacles as well as for those who have passed away within the past 49 days. The names will be read at the beginning of the practice, which will be dedicated to them, along with all sentient beings.

Please donate to support SI Australia, so it is able to continue to offer this and other practices. Siddhartha’s Intent Australia is a not-for-profit organisation entirely run by volunteers. Your donation will directly help with the costs of providing our program of online and face to face practices, teachings and retreats.
