Korwa Dongdruk – a practice for the dead

Chokgyur Lingpa’s Korwa Dongdruk: He Who Churns the Depths of Saṃsāra is a “name inscription” ritual to benefit those who have passed away. SIA offers the practice monthly for all beings listed on the Recently Passed list of the SIA Online Prayer List, performing it for each departed individual three times over three sessions. Though performing the ritual requires an empowerment, all are welcome to join this practice, including friends and relatives of the deceased.

Only those who have received empowerment for this practice may access the Resources Page and download or print the liturgy. Please note the text will no longer be screen shared.

In Australia, this puja is generally offered on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (though check here for changes and updates). For any questions, please contact Christina Peebles.
