Korwa Dongdruk (SI Australia)
Korwa Dongtruk – a practice for the dead (SIA)
Wednesday 19 June 6.45 for a 7 pm start (AEST, UTC +10)
Chokgyur Lingpa’s Korwa Dongdruk: He Who Churns the Depths of Saṃsāra is a “name inscription” ritual to benefit those who have passed away. SIA offers the practice monthly for all (human) beings listed on the Recently Passed list of the SIA Online Prayer List, performing it for each departed individual three times over three sessions. Though performing the ritual requires an empowerment, all are welcome to join this practice, including friends and relatives of the deceased.
In Australia, this puja is generally offered on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (though check here for changes and updates). For any questions, please contact Sarah Wilkinson.
