Hugo Croci

Hugo was born in Argentina and moved to Australia in 1977 where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of New South Wales and worked primarily developing railway control systems for the Sydney Metropolitan Railway. He is now retired and lives with his wife Pamela in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

Hugo has been a student of Rinpoche since 1986 and was actively involved for many years as the Treasurer of the Buddhist Education Foundation, which later became Siddhartha’s Intent Australia (SIA), and also as Treasurer of Vajradhara Gonpa for some years. He is now a member of the SI Archiving Team, provides technical support to SIA, and coordinates yearly meditation retreats on behalf of SIA in the Blue Mountains.
