Nadia was born in Moscow and still lives in Russia, working as a healthcare organizer and raising two daughters. In 2014, she met Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche’s students and became more interested in Buddhism. While browsing online, she found several teachings of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, watched his films, and read his books. To see Rinpoche in person, Nadia went to Deer Park in India for the first time. After these teachings, her priorities shifted significantly towards further study of Buddhism and supporting Russian-speaking students of Rinpoche. As a board member of SI Europe, Nadia coordinates ongoing work in Russia in the areas of translation, book publishing, social media, and online and offline teaching events.
