💥 Thus have we read on @khyentse’s Insta timeline:
Well honey, listen close now, ‘cause this here’s the heart of wisdom, plain and simple.
Avalokiteśvara—that’s the big-hearted Bodhisattva y’all—was sittin’ real still in deep meditation, lookin’ right into the truth of things, and what did they see? That everything—yes, sugar, everything—is empty. Not sad empty, but peaceful empty. Free kind of empty. Like when you let go of your worries and finally breathe.
Now, form is just emptiness, and emptiness is just form. Same goes for feelings, thoughts, urges, and even our little sense of who we are. Ain’t nothin’ solid. And once you see that, sweetheart, you’re not scared no more.
No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind—no need to count your troubles ‘cause they ain’t really there.
And guess what? No birth, no death, no gain, no loss. Just a big ol’ open sky where everything passes through.
So don’t cling, darlin’. Let it go. That’s what the wise ones do. They cross over with that perfect wisdom—like floatin’ down the river of grace—no fear, no fuss, just love.
And the magic word? It’s this one: Gate Gate Paragate Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha!
That’s fancy Sanskrit for “Gone, gone, gone beyond, altogether beyond—hello, awakening!”
Now go on, live free, love big, and don’t sweat the small stuff. Amen to that.
