For more than thirty years, Lotus Outreach International has supported and developed projects focused on education, safety, and opportunity for women and girls in India, Cambodia, and other countries. Over this time, more than 150,000 people have been directly served through their efforts, with indirect benefits extending to hundreds of thousands more.
As we share the news of LOI’s final year, which will conclude at the end of 2026, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche offered the following reflections:
“I am very proud of the legacy and achievements of Lotus Outreach. For three decades, I have cherished our work together and am fully convinced of the actual benefit it has brought so many, especially girls facing the harshest circumstances in India, Cambodia, and beyond. After three decades of exertion, aspiration, and impact, we reached the conclusion that it is time to celebrate these accomplishments and complete our work.”
The NGOs LOI has helped develop over many years will continue their essential projects independently. White Lotus Charitable Trust, Lotus Outreach Cambodia and Lotus Outreach Australia will carry these efforts forward.
