Manjushree manifests in many forms. He may be white, orange or black and may appear on a lion or holding a sword and a book. He can be human or non-human: a garden or a bridge, any place where we feel closer to the truth is also an emanation of Manjushree. But only when we free ourselves from the distinctions of outward appearances and the concepts of time and permanence, can we really be introduced to Manjushree. Understanding that phenomena appear but they have no intrinsic existence is the true nature of the Manjushree and the essence of all the buddhas.
