Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
Rinpoche dispels some Vajrayana myths in order to align our expectations.
A review of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s teachings on Samantabhadra’s King of Aspiration Prayers (from 2016 to 2024), including an overview of the Mahayana view and path with SI instructor Alex Li Trisoglio.
This series of 9 teachings provide a broad introduction to the Mahayana path and also the view that underpins ngöndro practice, especially the practice of the Seven-Branch Offering which is part of Guru Yoga, and itself contains the practices of prostration, offering (including mandala offering), confession (including Vajrasattva), rejoicing, imploring the buddhas to turn the wheel of Dharma, requesting the buddhas not to enter nirvana, and dedication.
Transcripts are available in English, Portuguese and Chinese at madhyamaka.com/aspiration.
