Maha Guru Aspiration Prayer of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal

Organized by the Pema Lingpa Foundation of Bhutan in commemoration of Pema Lingpa’s 500th anniversary.

Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal addresses this vast and profound prayer to Guru Rinpoche on the occasion of his departure to Copper-Coloured Mountain. The prayer is a treasure teaching, or terma, of Pema Lingpa and contains within itself a condensed and complete guide to the Buddhadharma. Yeshe Tsogyal instructs us in how to develop and maintain a relationship with the guru, how to eliminate obstacles, how and where we should practice, and how we can develop bodhicitta. The prayer instils confidence in our basic purity and goodness and reinforces the inseparability of our minds from the mind of the guru.
