At the request of 84000, and to celebrate Saga Dawa Düchen, Rinpoche gave a teaching on The Gold Sutra and lead a worldwide resounding on the sutra from Deer Park Institute.
Our mind is primordially pure just like gold, but we human beings forget this and become lost in anxiety and fear. We long for this truth, which paradoxically we have never really lost. Our insecurities, self-hatred and confusion may obscure the true nature of our mind but cannot change its primordial purity.
