Guided Ngondro Retreat at Sea to Sky Retreat Centre
“Ngondro is the foundation of all Vajrayana practice and therefore, even more important than the so-called main practice”
You are invited to attend a guided ngongro retreat led by Cydney Kawamura beginning on Saturday 07 November and ending on Wednesday, 11 November with an option to extend until Sunday, 15 November.
This program is open to those who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of the outer and inner preliminary practices of the Vajrayana.
Prerequisites: Already taken refuge and Bodhisattva vows AND received oral transmission for the ngondro text you are practicing.
The first 3.5 days will be an overview of the outer and inner Ngöndro practices with Dharma talks, guided meditation, demonstration and support from instructor(s) in the inspiring pristine environment of Daisy Lake where Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche has done many personal retreats.
The extended period (which ends on 15 November) are for those who wish to continue with their accumulation practice such as those who are enrolled in Ngondro Gar. Ngöndro Gar is an international community of students practicing Ngöndro following the teachings of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.
An email announcement will be sent when registration opens for this ngondro retreat at SSRC.
