Nyingtik Teachings

To Whom It May Concern,

At this point many people may have heard about the teachings related to the Nyingtik tradition that will take place from May 9th onwards. This is somewhat confirmed, so long as everything goes according to plan and we are not visited by the certainty of uncertainty.

In regard to this teaching, I want to remind everyone that I have given ample warnings about the Vajrayana path in the past. I want to double down on those warnings today because this is one of the highest Vajrayana teachings.

I am trying as best I can to go by the Vajrayana book in emphasizing that this teaching is not for beginners, that you should not come if you are new or just curious, and that all tantric precautions need to be taken. It is my duty to inform you of this, and now it is your duty really to pay attention to this. The Vajrayana simply does not fit with any worldly way of thinking, and especially not with the current way of thinking which now, more than ever, is starkly different from the Vajrayana view.

For those who think they have some sort of knowledge and preparation for these teachings and who have decided to come, I need to remind you as before that the setting and geographic location do not provide any kind of emotional, physical, or psychological support.

For instance, seating and other arrangements may not be as you expect them to be. There will also be hundreds of participants from entirely different cultures and backgrounds with different hang-ups, addictions, and habits who will relate to you in their own way. In short, I am not running any sort of therapeutic or health workshop, so there are no guarantees you will be safe. You are on your own.

There may also be people who claim to be kind, enlightened, have special techniques, and so on, and your fluctuating emotions and hormones may push or pull you in a certain direction. Here I can only suggest that you use your common sense. I am not here to go against your urges or to stop you having the freedom to do whatever you want.

These are just some of the kinds of things you need to bear in mind if you decide to come to these teachings.

If you can’t make it to India for these transmissions, please don’t be hysterical or discouraged. Plans to give the transmissions in Europe and Southeast Asia are already under way and will be announced with ample time for you to prepare.
