禅定是所有佛法修行的基础。 从佛陀时代至今，无数的男男女女修习禅定，并亲证佛陀试图向我们展示的我们本具的良善或清净的本性。 “止”和“观”的禅修技巧提供了一种实用的方法来唤醒我们真实本性的清静与明性。 藉由打破我们以自我为中心的散乱串习，并与内观的开放空间相连接，力量、智慧和慈悲等功德就会自然出现。
