2023 – 2024 In-Person Community Events
Siddhartha’s Intent Canada will be hosting Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in a series of programs in Vancouver. Upcoming events confirmed so far are:
| January 6-7 | Aspiration is the King: Teaching on Samantabhadra’s King of Aspiration Prayers (Ārya-Bhadracaryā-Praṇidhāna-Rāja)
The “King of Aspiration Prayers” is a Mahayana Buddhist text where practitioners vow to emulate the bodhisattva Samantabhadra’s path to enlightenment, committing to universal compassion, ethical perfection, and the welfare of all beings. Its recitation aims to purify karma and cultivate the virtues necessary for spiritual awakening. This teaching program is open to all with no pre-requisites. Consecutive Chinese translation and live streaming in multiple languages will be available. Saturday, January 6, 1 PM-4 PM
Sunday, January 7, 10 AM-12 PM; 2 PM-4 PM

Message from Rinpoche regarding empowerment: “The only restriction is that empowerments are generally only for tantric or aspiring tantric practitioners. So if anyone is unsure about all the tantric stuff, they shouldn’t come.
