Buddha Dharma: An Indian Heritage
Among all the contributions of Indian culture, the Buddha Dharma shines very brightly. This very important part of Indian heritage has been influencing the world for more than 2,000 years and must be preserved. What is the Buddha Dharma: a religion, a spiritual path, a philosophy or a scientific method? It is all and none of these. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche introduces three key components of the Buddhist view of life and the world: impermanence, suffering and emptiness, giving practical instructions for meditating on the nature of the self and the mind. Perhaps the simplest explanation of the Buddha Dharma is that it is a path to becoming your own master.

The Perfection of Wisdom
The Perfection of Wisdom Sutra presents a fundamental view of the Buddha Dharma and how we can follow the path to an awakened mind. For Mahayana practitioners, this sutra is the essence of the Buddha’s teachings. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche gives a brief introduction to the sutra on Saga Dawa, a very special day when the Buddha fully awakened to the truth.
