The Compassionate Warrior: Authentic Practice Beyond Spiritual Materialism
In this teaching, hosted in collaboration with Khyentse Vision Project, Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche reflects on what it means to be a “compassionate warrior” in Buddhist practice, and the courage it takes to engage the path with radical honesty.
Rinpoche explores how we often seek relief from discomfort through everyday distractions, as well as through spiritual practices that can easily become another form of avoidance. Instead of confronting the deeper unease that drives our search for security, we may simply swap one escape strategy for another.
