Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
Talk at University of Toronto on "Supporting Resilience and Mental Health in the Age of AI".
Everyone suffers from trauma to some degree. The Buddha taught that our traumas are connected to what happened a minute ago, a month ago or even several lifetimes ago. But most modern people do not care much about anything beyond this life. Fortunately for us, the Buddha also taught that the most effective therapy for trauma is not to trace it back to its origins but to tackle how it manifests in the present moment.
In this dhyana session, Mr Khyentse Norbu leads several short meditations to help us handle our traumas.
With simultaneous interpretation in: Cantonese, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish
