The Real Mugwort Born

Dear friends who follow the teachings of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche,

Recently, we have become aware that excerpts and images from Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s personal autobiographical blog “Mugwort-Born” have been compiled, printed into physical booklets, and circulated or sold online without authorisation.

In order to prevent public misunderstanding and to ensure the purity and accuracy of the transmission of the Dharma, we hereby issue the following formal statement:

1. Nature of “Mugwort-Born” and Means of Access

“Mugwort-Born” is a personal autobiography and memoir that Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche has been writing and updating online, in blog-style, since 2016, and it remains an ongoing work. Rinpoche has stated:​ “The purpose of this is to introduce my teachers.”

At present, this work is exclusively available online for free reading through the official website​: https://mugwortborn.com/
No authorisation has been granted for any form of physical publication, printing, or commercial sale.

2. Official Channels for Rinpoche’s Teachings and Information

All of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s public teachings, lectures, activities and related updates are officially released through the following​ authorised organizations:

We sincerely call upon ​t​hose who cherish Rinpoche’s teachings to read and share them through official channels only, and to jointly safeguard the purity and authenticity of the Dharma’s transmission.
