This gallery is being created with the aspiration to showcase art which expresses the Dharma and in this way brings people closer to the truth.

“Without art there is no imagination. And if there’s no imagination, where’s life? Without art there is real poverty. Without art you are really powerless.”

FEATURED EXHIBITION

María Ignacia Ferrer

We are thrilled to welcome you to Siddhartha’s Intent’s 16th online exhibition, featuring the extraordinary works of Chilean artist María Ignacia Ferrer. A fusion of artistic mastery and spiritual depth, this exhibition brings together Ferrer’s vibrant oil paintings, rooted in the teachings of Buddhism.

María Ignacia Ferrer is not only a painter but a dedicated teacher of visual arts, blending her expertise in traditional oil painting with the spiritual richness she discovered in Buddhism. “From a very young age, painting was part of my life,” she reflects, “however, a decade ago, after a trip to Nepal, the focus of my work was based on the serenity of Buddhist teachings. I began to express it visually, drawing inspiration from various thangkas and deities.”

Her latest project, Inner Connection, showcases large-scale works that pulse with vibrant colours and rich textures, drawing viewers into a contemplative exploration of spirituality. These paintings offer more than just a visual feast—they evoke a sense of peace and connection, inviting us to embark on our own spiritual journeys alongside the artist.

We invite you to explore this unique collection and immerse yourself in María Ignacia Ferrer’s world of art, where traditional techniques and spiritual insight come together to create an inspiring and transformative experience. Those who wish to dive deeper into her artistic journey can explore more of her work on her website and follow her on Instagram for updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses.
